Thanksgiving/ Baby Harris 23-27 Weeks

November sure was a fast month! We were busy and had lots going on! We had both Bo and my birthday along with Thanksgiving and lots of visits from our family! I have lots to update on.

Just a little update on our little girlie, she is growing, and growing FAST! After Thanksgiving, Bo went to Philadelphia for work so I stayed in Vernal and did some projects with my mom and Julie! We made all of the bedding for the nursery (pics to come soon, I just wanna get more of the nursery done)! While I was there I swear the baby grew overnight! I didn't even recognize my belly when I woke up one morning! No lie, I wore some jeans to Vernal, when I left I couldn't wear them anymore. You can pretty much tell from my pics from 26 to 27 weeks. I grew a lot and now I feel like she is growing every day! I can't believe how soon she will be here!

She sure is getting stronger as well. Her jabs, kicks, flips and punches can sure make me jump! She loves my ribs on my right side and has learned how to stretch out. I don't know if it her feet and arms, but they can poke out on both of my sides at the same time!

I am feeling really good! Sometimes I feel bad for complaining so bad in the beginning but hey, it wasn't too fun. Now I am just enjoying things like charlie horses in my calves, heart burn, and slowly running out of energy. Who knew that just hanging out all day could make you tired?

Our poor girl still has no name yet. If you know anything about Bo and I, you know how indecisive we are. We do have a middle name picked out so that is one less thing to worry about! We have a name we pretty much agree on but there are others I may be willing to settle on. I just wanna see her little face and put a name to it so we'll probably bring our list to the hospital. There are only like 3 names we agree on though, so hopefully it won't be too hard of a decision.

Speaking of the hospital! Bo and I went to a birthing class last month. Let's just hope we can remember the things we learned, but who am I kidding, nothing ever goes as planned right? But, I'm glad we went! It was actually a pretty fun experience!

We leave for Australia on Friday! I can't believe it's already here! I am a bit nervous for the flight. Sitting for a long period of time gets uncomfortable considering she likes my ribs. Also, it's supposed to be HOT while we are there so let's hope we don't overheat ;) But we are all overly excited to spend time together as a family! I am so excited to be with all of my nieces and nephews all at the same time! Friday can't come fast enough!

Bo's last day of this semester is on Tuesday! This semester has been rough and the next one will only be worse, but! he is registered for graduation for April so we couldn't be more excited! Wish us both luck on the next 4 months!

I think this is all the updates I have for now! Just enjoying pregnancy and seeing the miracle of what my body can do! The next update will be from Australia :) I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and New Year!

For Bo's birthday we went to the mall and he requested Braza for some Brazilian food!

Our annual shooting on Thanksgiving!
My mom's wrapping job on my birthday present. Love her!

See what I mean about how I grew!?!

Just a little sneak peak of the projects we worked on after Thanksgiving!  We had 4 sewing machines and we sewed our booties off!

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you've probably already seen this but I had to post it on here. It looks like Bo and I have a chance of having a little chunky baby! Either way, I am so excited to kiss her little (or chubby) cheeks!

Our "Been-Up-To's" and Baby Harris Weeks 18-22

We have been pretty busy since last month! I am doing terrible at this posting thing but hopefully now I can do better! Here are just a few things we have been up to!

At the end of September, we went to the Manchester Orchestra and Brand New concert at U of U. We went a few years ago to the same concert and it was one of our favorite we've been to so we were excited to go again! It was a lot of fun for Bo, but I wouldn't suggest  going to that kind of concert while pregnant. Too many people smoking and I couldn't get near the stage whatsoever. It kind of makes me feel old when I say that ;) Concerts probably just aren't my thing anymore, maybe a more mellow one would be better. We got to see a few of our friends though that we don't see often and we got to hang out with Bo's sisters so that was the fun part about it for me :)

Not going to lie, once I hit this 18 week mark, I realized that my belly was growing, something I probably should have realized earlier, I felt huge in this picture and had a pregnant emotional moment haha! I am doing much better now and embracing my belly!

I started feeling our girlie kick right after 18 weeks! Probably my favorite part right now! Bo felt her kick on October 5th for the first time! I was so excited he got to experience it so soon as well! Probably because one of her favorite times to kick is right when we get into bed at night! She loves keeping me awake til she gets comfortable. She also kicks a lot first thing in the morning and around lunch time! She probably takes after me and gets upset when she is hungry!

Half way! Yay!

In the middle of last month, our amazing parents came out and helped us move. We absolutely love our new place! Much better than before. I also do not suggest moving while pregnant haha! I felt pretty useless cause everything was so heavy and it's crazy how fast I got tired. I felt like an old lady! But Bo luckily was able to get the day off for the move and our parents did a lot to help us unpack and my mom pretty much cleaned our other apartment for inspection, which I will forever be grateful for!

The day we moved into our new place,  our crib was waiting at the door for us! Bo's parents got it for us and we were all so excited to see it put together! Once the weekend came and we were all settled in, Bo couldn't take it anymore, he had to get it put together so Landon and Olivia came over to help! We love it! It is so weird to think there will be a baby in there before we know it! My mom came back out this week and we got all the fabric and supplies to make the crib bedding! That is going to be our project over Thanksgiving! I can't wait to get it all together! I think the nursery will be the best part of our new place!

Right after 20 weeks, we had another ultrasound! We love seeing the baby! She got all checked out and she is healthy and we couldn't be more happy!

Last weekend we carved pumpkins with Landon and Olivia! Gotta do it right?! None of us wanted to get our clothes dirty so Bo and I dug out some old family reunion t-shirts so we could all match ;)

Our friends Andrew and Alesha invited us to their place last night for Halloween. A bunch of people at Bo's work dressed up as the characters from Grease for the day. I was going to wear a poodle skirt to match him but it didn't quite fit around my belly so a hippie is the only other thing I had.

Overall I am feeling much better. I only get nauseous every now and then. A lot of food gives me heartburn but that is about it!  We are starting a birthing class next week! I know it's early. They don't offer the class we want in December, in January my sister will be here from Australia and next semester Bo will be taking on 17 whole credits at school plus working full time! We will be busy busy and Bo will be extremely busy so why not get the class out of the way?! I am so thankful for Bo. He makes my life too easy. He is so busy with school and work and works extra hard to provide for us! We can not wait til April! Bo will be graduating and then the baby and I will have him all to ourselves for a while! We will also see how his hard work will pay off!

We are so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas! We love being with family! I think it is going to make time fly! We are especially getting more and more excited for Australia! I am a little nervous about the flight so any advice on traveling would be nice ;) I can't wait to see my nephews and then spend extra time with them and my sister in January!

Sugar and Spice!

Looks like our instincts from the beginning were right!
Baby Harris is a GIRL!!

We couldn't be more thrilled! We found out last Monday and the lady doing the ultrasound was pretty sure she was a little girl! We got some great pictures of her! We loved seeing her move around, kicking her legs and moving her arms. She even had a little head bob going on. Maybe she will run after her daddy and love music! She is just too cute already!

I still haven't felt her move, that I know of anyway. Hopefully soon though. I am already feeling big and only put on jeans if I absolutely have to ;) I am feeling better each day with only a bad day here and there. My nights are starting to consist of achy hips and heartburn, but nothing too unbearable.

We found a new apartment and will be moving next month. Now my brain is going crazy with ideas for the nursery. I just have to keep telling myself we still have FOREVER and I have plenty of time to plan and do projects! It's just too fun though, right?!

We have another ultrasound at 20 weeks so we will see if our little one really is a girl. Either way, we can't wait! We are happy we have a healthy little one :)

Waiting to find out!

Finally An Update! Baby Harris: 8 - 15 Weeks

I don't exactly know where to begin for this post. Let's just say the experience of pre-pregnancy and pregnancy itself has been a roller coaster. I guess I should start by saying how blessed Bo and I have been in our experience and we couldn't be more happy that we are getting closer to welcoming a new little member into our family.
After a long road of trying to get pregnant, Bo and I found on on June 21st that our prayers were answered! I took a pregnancy test and we both couldn't believe it so I had to take a couple more just to be safe ;)
As for the pregnancy part, I have been putting off this post because I know how blessed we've been but, to be honest, if you've seen the movie "What to Expect When You're Expecting" I am like the lady that Elizabeth Banks plays. I know I shouldn't complain but it's been an adventure from quitting my job, an ER visit (hence the 10 & 11 week pic), right down to a dermatologist visit that I had today in fact! Oh the joys, right?!
Well enough of that part! We really are so excited! We have had amazing support from our friends and family. I am starting to feel tons better! Hopefully within the next week or two I'll feel like a million bucks! Food is starting to sound more appealing (no cravings yet!)  and I even got myself to the gym the other day! And of course we all can. not. wait! to find out if we are having a boy or girl! Bo and I were both set on a girl when I first got pregnant, but now we have no clue! I love little girl bows and frilly dresses but I also can't resist the little tiny baseball hats and high top shoes for a little boy. I guess we'll know soon enough!
Now,  just wish us luck on picking out a name ;)

Thanks to Mookie for the drawing on this one!

A Few Summer Events...

Mookie graduated! We are so excited! She will be moving out here any day now! We can't wait to have her closer!

We went to the dinosaur national monument with Bo's family. I haven't been since I was little I think on a field trip.

If you live around here, during the summer, there is a free rooftop concert once a month in downtown Provo. It is a lot of fun and its always nice to have something free to do right?

My sister, nieces and nephews were in Salt Lake for a week and they were dying to make something out of duct tape.

We went to Warped Tour! Finally! Bo and I hadn't been in 5 years. It was so much fun!

The night before the 4th of July, we went to Landon and Olivia's  so we could save seats for the parade. It was actually pretty entertaining. A lot of people drive up and down the street in cool cars and on pretty nice motorcycles.

The parade!

Bo and I went to Stadium of Fire with my parents. The Beach Boys was on my mom's bucket list so we were all pretty happy she got to cross that one off!

Bo and I went to Wicked a couple weeks ago. It was soooo good! If you eer have the opportunity to go, go!  So worth it!

April Happenings

Bo and Landon spent a lot of time together because the Avalanche played a couple times a week!

Bo and I went to our first Jazz game with our family!

I went to City Creek with my parents. Poor Bo couldn't go because he had to go to a Portuguese competition for school. We still need to go back.

Easter!

This year for our anniversary (even though it was a month early) we decided to get this! A Ruckus!  Bo had been looking at them forever and we finally decided to get one! It has been great to have. It is cheap to fill up so we definitely save on gas money!

Helmet shopping!
