The Rest of My Weekend!

Yesterday Elder Harris' family came out here to Logan because one of Elder Harris' companions just got home and he is from Logan, so they came to go to his homecoming. I had so much fun with them! We went to the mall and to Cafe Rio! Later, my friends and I went to some hot springs and Mookie came with me! We had a lot of fun! It was great meeting Elder Harris' companion today! He gave a great talk and let us see pics and videos of him and Elder Harris. It looks like they had so much fun together and worked very hard. Now it makes me what Elder Harris to be home even more! I guess I can learn patience and wait the little under 7 months that I have :)

Last Night

Last night there wasn't much going on in Logan once again, so we decided to try out this new dance club that opened at the beginning of the school year here in Logan. I'm not gonna lie, it was kinda lame. It took a while for it to fill up with people and by the time that happened we were ready to go haha! But it was good to hang out with my friends. My friend Jamie, (in the top picture) just recently got her mission call to Taiwan. She is usually one of the people who always goes dancing with me so I'm sad to lose my dancing buddy but I am sooooo excited for her. She is going to have some great experiences!

To wind down after the dance, Whitney and I went up on campus and took a few random pics. I think there was an art contest going on this week so there were a bunch of weird things all over.

Next we went up to get a picture with THE BULL! You are actually supposed to become an "Ultimate Aggie" on this bull which means when it's cold and dark outside you are supposed to ride him naked. EWWWW!!! It was fun getting normal pics on him though haha! He is way bigger than you would think. The pic doesn't do justice! It was scary climbing up and down on him!

A Great Couple Days

I know I should be stressed out with finals and all but I decided I wanna have some fun before it's time to go home. I've had a great couple days so I thought I'd share with you what I did! So here ya go:

I got to sit in the hot tub at my apartment complex cause it's finally warm enough for it to be open!

I layed out and got my first sunburn of the year. It's not good that I got a sunburn but I'm excited it was warm enough to lay out and get come color to my skin! I'm white!

I bought Strawberry Milkshake Oreos and the are sooo yummy! You should try!

I stunted at the park with some of my friends! It was a lot of fun! I haven't stunted in forever and now today I am SORE! I even based and I've never really done that before!

And to top it all off I went Country Swing dancing last night. I don't have pics of that :( But it was fun!

We Could Have Been Golden

(Sorry this is so long!)
I had such a great weekend! There wasn't much going on in good ol' Logan so I decided to go visit  my friend, Klinny, in Price where she is going to school. On Friday night we went to a hypnotist and an Allred concert they had on campus. It was so much fun! The hypnotist was hilarious and of course Allred was fabulous. If you've never heard of or listened to Allred I highly recommend that you do. When Allred played he mentioned that he was headlining a concert in Provo the next night so after Klinny and I went and talked with Allred to get all the details and to get a pic with him of course!
So Saturday rolls around and there wasn't much to do in Price so we decided to head to Provo for Allred's concert once again! We were so excited! The concert was great and Allred introduced a new cd he just put out and I got to see my other friend Sam! I haven't seen him forever! At the concert they stamped you at the door so you could get a dollar off at a place called Spoon Me so that's where we headed after. It was sooo yummy! I loved hanging out with Klinny and Sam! We all got caught up on each other's lives cause it's hard to do since we are all going to different colleges.
With all that said I have to tell you an embarrassing/awkward moment Klinny and I had. So like I said, on Friday night after the concert we talked with Allred and got all the details for his concert on Saturday. Well, once we got to the place the concert was in Provo we went in to ask if we could buy our tickets. The guy at the door was unsure and yelled "Hey John can they buy their tickets now?" In Klinny and my mind we were thinking "Please dont' be John Allred, pleas don't be John Allred." And yep, surely, it was in fact John Allred. He walked over to us and said, "No, the tickets aren't on sell.... wait, you are the girls from last night." Oh man I was dying inside and trying my hardest to hide behind Klinny the best I could. I didn't want him to think we were like madly in love with him and stalking him. We just had nothing to do and wanted to go to his concert again. Noooo!! But Allred was really nice about it and even though tickets weren't on sell then, he was gonna let us in anyway while they set up and he told us we could go to the cafe right inside :S. Unfortunately, Klinny didn't have cash so we couldn't stay and we were dying inside as it was so we left. Outside the door we were freaking out and reliving that moment when he said "wait, you're the girls from last night" in our heads! Oh well good times! I guess we'll never forget that one :)

Quilts!

So in high school a took a sewing class. I went into the class thinking I was going to hate it but with my mom's encouragement I decided to give it a try and guess what! I fell in love with making quilts! I even ended up taking the class again! And even now that I'm out of high school I've continued to make quilts. I was thinking about it today and I've made somewhere around 12 quilts! I love it!
I have a new nephew on the way so on Monday and Tuesday this week I made him a quilt! I can't wait til he is born so he can use it! After I finished his quilt I went and bought more material and I think this quilt should turn out pretty nice! I've spent some of my time today cutting out all the squares to get started! Can't wait til it's done! The finished product is always the best part!

My new material!

Weather...

Most of you are probably feeling the same way about the weather right now as I am. When is winter gonna end?? Today I woke up to a rain storm and nasty worms all over the ground and later it changed into snow! What the crap! Honestly?? I am so sick of the cold, nasty snow and rain! I want sunshine! It's the middle of April for crying out loud!

My Weekend

A few pics Marli took haha!

One of the outfits Marli got for her bday.

Showing off our bowling skills :)

Marli's Easter dress

As I get older, I realize how important family is. They are always there no matter what and I am so grateful for the family I have and couldn't ask for more. This Easter I got lucky and got to spend it in St. George with my family and I also got to spend my niece's birthday with her. I can't believe that my Kenyon and Marli are both 3 now! It's so crazy! I can still remember the day they were born clearly.
We made the long trip to St. George on Thursday night and got to celebrate Marli's birthday on Friday. We had so much fun! She got all kinds of presents! We even with to a place called Pirate Island. It was so much fun! We played arcades for over and hour and got tons of tickets! De'dy even won 134 tickets at one time! It was so much fun going as a family and I think Marli had a great birthday. She is so funny over Thanksgivng I thought her how to take pictures on my camera so that is one of her favorite things right now so she will take the funniest pictures. It's so funny going back through my pictures to see the random things she took pictures of.
On Saturday we took Marli and Dylan to an Easter egg hunt. It was raining and a little cold but it was fun watching them! Later we went bowling! We had a blast! I'm not sure you could say we are the best bowling family but I can't remember the last time we did that as a together so it was a lot of fun even though I kept getting gutter balls and couldn't knock down any pins for the life of me!
Sunday we woke up early and Marli and Dylan were sooo excited to find a trail of jelly beans that lead to their Easter baskets! Dylan enjoyed the jelly beans a little too much I think. He thought it was the coolest thing that he got to eat jelly beans right when he woke up it was hilarious! After Marli and Dylan got to see what the Easter bunny brought we went to church came home and ate a FABULOUS dinner! I am so thankful for holidays when I get to be with my family!

The Maine

Moshing

John Ohh

Last night I went to a concert and it was so fun! I saw Rocket to the Moon, Hit the Lights, Family Force 5, The Maine, and 3oh3 (sort of). It was so much fun! I went with Tayla and we had a blast! We were in the mosh pit the whole time and let me tell you what, today I am so sore! Being short and moshing doesn't go well together haha! I got squished in between lots of people and one person even landed on my head, ouch! But it was good! I mostly went to see the band The Maine. Tayla is in love with the singer John Ohh and we were both so excited cause we got to meet him and a few of the other band members! It was awesome!

Memories!

Today I found a disposable camera that I've had for probably almost 3 years now. I always put off developing the pictures so since I randomly found it I decided to get the pics developed to see what was on it and this is what I found! There were some great memories captured with the disposable camera. My first and second warped tour, fun times at the river and times when Elder Harris and I just felt like being goofy. I took a few pics of Bayside (my favorite band) with this camera the first time I saw them and it is honestly my one of my favorite memories ever! I will never forget it! I can still remember screaming at the top of my lungs to all of the songs. The river will always be another one of my favorite memories as well. I went with my closest friends in the summer and on this particular day that's pictured, we had a blast trying out the skim board in the water. We had many laughs cause I think all of us biffed it hard a couple times cause the board would come out from under our feet. I shared these pics with my friend Klinny, and she mentioned that she would go back to those days in a heartbeat- oh man, so would I! Very very good times!

Bayside

I couldn't get this stamp off my arm for church the next day, oops!

These tasted fabulous!

River fun!

I got FRIED at my first Warped Tour!
